.....to add on to the last post, NOW SOME PITCHING
I've got to give the props to Big Pelf. He pitched pretty, pretty (and did I mention pretty) well. By the way, I'm watching the game and the Mets are really in business. They just scored a run on a Cora hit and a Wright RBI infield hit on a boot by a certain Ian Desmond. Oh, and Ruben Tejada got his first MLB hit. Pelf didn't let Josh Willingham score after doubling to start the 6th and struck out 5 and walked 4 in 6 innings while throwing 94 pitches. He only gave up 2 runs on that Ian Desmond's 2-run triple and Pelf is now 1 win and 0 losses!

Sammy, you dig baseball- the ups and downs, the hope and the wonder that asks when they play well, “why do they have to lose any games”? And when they are in a slump, “Will they ever win again?”
ReplyDeleteThat is part of the fascination with this game, even with all the commercialization.
