The food at Citifield - starting new traditions?

I was at the game yesterday with my Dad, in our usual section 107.  We got there early to get our Frankie Rodriguez bobblehead giveaways and started thinking about lunch.  Normally my Dad, who is a heart doctor, eats ridiculously heart healthy food - except at the ballpark.  It is a family tradition to gorge on hot dogs, peanuts, knishes, popcorn and beer until we go home groaning and holding our stomachs.  But my Dad found the "Taste of the Citi" market, featuring specialties from around NYC.  He actually bought fresh sushi and edamame!  We shared it and it was really good.  I guess some tried and true traditions change sometimes, but I'm only letting him do it once or twice per year!

Murphy - THE Mets offense!

In Flushing, Daniel Murphy provided all the offense in The Mets 4-2 win over the Cubbies. Starting with a 4th inning solo homer to the Pepsi porch in right field, he followed it up with an RBI single in the 5th and a 2 RBI triple in the 7th to give the Mets some breathing room.  Oh, and Pelfrey had good stuff, recording his 10th win - he pitched 8 solid innings, allowing 1 earned run, 5 hits and 5 strikeouts. In fact, the Mets won this series, the first time they've won a series since July against Colorado.
